GMS (Game Managment System)
The RFU's Game Management System (GMS) is the central digital platform for managing rugby in England, used by players, coaches, clubs, and the RFU for player registration, club affiliations, fixture scheduling (leagues etc), maintaining records, and facilitating communication. Find out more about GMS.
All players, including U6 and Rugruts, MUST register on GMS for Old Rutlishian's Rugby Club. This is mandatory.

RFU Number: A unique identifier given to each player upon their first registration. It stays with them for life.
Self-Registration: Clubs do not register players - it must be done by the player or a parent/guardian. Players must be registered every year via their GMS account to be play for Old Rutlishians Rugby Club.
Club Approval: After a player's registration has been submitted, the club registrar reviews and approves it.
Changing Clubs: If a player changes clubs, the new club must request a transfer, and the previous club must approve it before the player can be registered with the new team.
Age Grade (U6–U18): Parents/guardians must register or renew their child’s registration annually.
Adult Rugby for 17 year-olds: 17 year-olds can play adult rugby but must complete additional steps, including capability assessments and signed forms. Once they turn 18, they can play in any position.
Adult Rugby (18+): Players must register or renew their own registration annually.
